Just got back from walking with Michael to the bus. Birds observed:

Cardinals, Crows, Kinglet, House Finch, Ring-billed Gull, Flicker, Chipping Sparrow.

A very chilly, clear, sunny morning.

Deciduous trees begin to leaf. Some with catkins.

Robin’s Nest

Kingsway College, Nature’s Summer Residents

April 28, Monday

Last weekend, a family out for a Sabbath walk discovered a fox’s lair with baby foxes.

The head of maintenance told me that a Killdeer’s nest was found and protected.

A Robin has built its nest right at the entrance way of the family studies building.
